February 12 & 15: NO SCHOOL- Professional Development and President’s Day
March 21: Delayed Start
March 25: NO SCHOOL- Good Friday
April 2-10: NO SCHOOL- Spring Break

Due to report card testing there are no new spelling words this week.  Look for report cards to come home in your child’s folder next week. J


Student of the Week:
Our special student this week is Mason Howell!  Mason will be 7 in March.  He is good at roller skating ad he has been to many waterparks! His favorite foods are macaroni and cheese, Ramen noodles, pancakes, chili, and cornbread.  His goal is to learn more and become good at Math.  He enjoys SpongeBob and Ice Age 2.

Math:
We will be taking our Unit 4 Math test on Thursday this week. 

On the back you will find a class list.  Please encourage your child to write the names of their friends on their Valentine cards.  Thank you!

Student of the Week:
Our special student this week is Jack Gilde!  Jack will be 7 in March.  He is good at using computers and picking apples.  Jack is also a great athlete.  His favorite foods are waffles and pizza.  Two of his goals are to become an EMT and to be like his dad.  He enjoys super heroes and has 3 brothers and 1 sister! 

Math:
We have been working with measurement and are discovering units of measure and how the lengths change when we use different tools.
