Mrs. Kamphouse’s Class Week

SHARING:
Just a
reminder: The children are allowed to
bring in 1 thing to share on Fridays. We
set aside about 30 minutes on Friday afternoons for them to share. I ask them to choose 1 thing so that all of
the children are able to have time to share. J They may also “tell” if they do not have
something to show.
STUDENT OF THE WEEK: Our special student this week is Zeke Haverkamp! Zeke says that he enjoys fishing, eating, and
going to football games! Some of his
favorites are pizza, cake, corndogs, Scooby Doo, and football books. Zeke would like to learn more in school and
at recess. He will be 7 on July 3rd
and has 2 brothers and 1 sister! J
VALENTINE’S
DAY: The Valentine card exchange will be on the
afternoon of February 14th. I
will include a list of names for each student in our classroom. Please encourage your child to write their
classmate’s names on the cards. This is
good spelling and penmanship practice. J
Last
year I let the kids make their Valentine boxes at home. They are welcome to use whatever you have
(cereal boxes, tissue boxes, shoe boxes, or even paper bags). We also had ice cream sundae cups as our
treat, and that seemed to work nicely.

SEND IN ICE CREAM CUPS OR ANY OTHER VALENTINE TREAT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. J WE

COMPARTIR: Sólo un recordatorio: A los niños se les permite traer en una
cosa para compartir los viernes. Dejamos de lado unos 30 minutos el viernes por
la tarde para ellos para compartir. Puedo hacer 'em que elegir una cosa de
manera que todos los niños son fiables a tener tiempo
para compartir. También pueden "decir" si
no-tienen algo que mostrar.
Estudiante de la semana:
Nuestro alumno especial esta semana es Zeke Haverkamp! Que Zeke dice que
disfruta de la pesca, comer y de ir a los partidos de fútbol! Algunos de los favoritos son el hijo de pizza, torta,
corndogs, Scooby Doo, y los libros de fútbol. Zeke le gustaría aprender más en la escuela y en el
recreo. Él será el 3 de julio y 7 tiene 2
hermanos y 1 hermana!
DIA DE SAN VALENTIN: El
intercambio de tarjetas de San Valentín será en la tarde del 14 de febrero. Voy a incluir una lista de nombres
para cada estudiante en nuestra clase. Por favor anime a su hijo a escribir los
nombres de sus compañeros de clase en las tarjetas.
Esta es una buena práctica de la ortografía y la caligrafía.
El año pasado dejo que los niños hagan sus cajas Valentín en casa. Ellos pueden hacer uso de todo lo que tiene-(cajas de
cereales, cajas de pañuelos, cajas de zapatos,
bolsas de papel, incluso de oro). También teníamos copas de helado sundae como nuestro capricho, y que parecía funcionar muy bien.
SI desea enviar EN copas de
helado de crema o cualquier otra golosina VALENTINE, por favor hágamelo saber. Contamos con 21 estudiantes.
