REPORT CARDS: The first grade teachers would like to let you know that Quarter 1 will not be shown on your child’s report card this time.  During the past month our tech team has graciously put our report cards on Power School.  However, they were unable to input the Quarter 1 information because this was inputted by us in November via Adobe Reader.  Thank you for your understanding, and we apologize that you will not be able to see both Quarters! REPORT CARDS WILL BE GOING HOME ON FRIDAY!

WRITING:  I sent home a letter with your child’s writing after Unit 1 stating that I would be sending home their work home after each unit of study.  However, Mrs. VanderVlucht would like all of the elementary teachers to hang on to the students’ writing until the end of the year.  This is due to the fact that our Professional Development focus this year is Writing.  Thank you for your understanding with this as well.  I promise that I will give it to you in June! J

STUDENT OF THE WEEK:  Our special student this week is Jane Koetje!  Jane is celebrating her half birthday this week.  She will be 8 on July 15^th!  She enjoys camping, tacos, spaghetti, Stromboli, and the movies Step Dogs and Home Alone.  Jane can do a head stand!  She is a Christian and loves the Bible!  When she grows up she would like to be a teacher and/or a bus driver! J

BOLETAS: Los primeros maestros de grado ¿Le gustaría hacerle saber Que trimestre 1 no se mostrará en la tarjeta de calificaciones de su hijo en esta ocasión. Durante el mes pasado nuestro equipo Tech ha gentilmente poner las cartas informe sobre Power School. Sin embargo, ellos no fueron capaces de introducir la información Quarter 1 Esto era porque introducida por nosotros en noviembre a través de Adobe Reader. Gracias por su comprensión y nos disculpamos que no vas a ser ble para ver ambos trimestres!

ESCRITURA: He enviado una carta a casa con su hijo después de la escritura de la Unidad 1 que indica que estaría enviando el trabajo como en casa después de Su-Cada unidad de estudio. SIN EMBARGO, Sra. VanderVlucht gustaría que todos los maestros de primaria de aferrarse a la escritura de los estudiantes hasta el final del año. Esto es debido al hecho de que nuestro desarrollo profesional se centran este año es la escritura. Gracias por su comprensión con esto también. Prometo que voy a darle a usted en junio!

Estudiante de la semana: Nuestro alumno especial esta semana es Jane Koetje! Jane está celebrando su cumpleaños mitad de esta semana. Ella será de 8 el 15 de julio! A ella le gusta acampar, tacos, espaguetis, Stromboli, y las películas Step Perros y Solo en casa. Jane puede hacer un soporte de cabeza! Ella es un cristiano y ama la Biblia! Cuando crezca a ella le gustaría ser maestra y / o un conductor de autobús!
