Mrs. Kamphouse’s Class Week
of: October 24, 2016
Picture Retakes: October 25th (Tomorrow!)
October 31: Afternoon Halloween Dress Up Day
November 1: NO SCHOOL- Professional Development
LOOKING AHEAD: I will be going to a
School Improvement conference for two nights on November 20-22; so I will have
a substitute on that Monday and Tuesday.
We may be having our Native American day rotations on the Tuesday
morning. I’m not sure how that is going
to work yet. J
I will keep you posted. I may
need parent back up! Haha
COINS: This is the LAST WEEK to send in spare
coins for kids! (I thought it was last week…but it is THIS week) Mrs. Gentry from
Pizza Hut will be coming in on THIS THURSDAY to collect the last of our
coins! Send in any spare change if you’d
like before then!
HALLOWEEN: October 31 we will celebrate Halloween by dressing up
in the AFTERNOON. Please DO NOT send
your child to school in their Halloween costume. Our morning will be a “normal” Monday
morning. They may pack their costume in their backpack, and I will give them
time after lunch recess to get into their costume.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE THE
HALLOWEEN NOTE THAT I SENT HOME LAST WEEK!
STUDENT OF THE WEEK: Our special student this week is Harmony Marcusse! Harmony enjoys going to the waterpark, going out
to eat, and playing outside. Her
favorite food is macaroni and cheese.
She is six years old and will turn seven on May 17th! Harmony would like to learn how to ride a
horse, and learn how to bake. Her
favorite book is the Bible. J
MATH: Look for your child’s Math pretest and
posttest to come home either tomorrow or Wednesday. Remember the posttest is what counts! I do
both so that I can see their growth. J
