100s DAY: This Friday is the 100th Day of School! I thought it would be fun to have a 100’s Day Trail Mix treat.  We will be sorting the trail mix goodies into 10 Frames during our Math time, and then we will eat it!  I am asking that each student try to bring at least 1 cup of the trail mix item listed by Friday morning.

J

VALENTINE’S DAY:  The Valentine card exchange will be on the afternoon of February 14th.  I will include a list of names for each student in our classroom.  Please encourage your child to write their classmate’s names on the cards.  This is good spelling and penmanship practice. J
Last year I let the kids make their Valentine boxes at home.  They are welcome to use whatever you have (cereal boxes, tissue boxes, shoe boxes, or even paper bags).  We also had ice cream sundae cups as our treat, and that seemed to work nicely.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEND IN ICE CREAM CUPS OR ANY OTHER VALENTINE TREAT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. J  WE HAVE 21 STUDENTS.
