November 15: NO SCHOOL: Deer Day
November 24 & 25: NO SCHOOL:
Thanksgiving Break
SPELLING: Your child may not have spelling homework
this week. If they had zero or one wrong
on the pretest they will NOT have homework.
I have to wait until they take the pretest on Monday, and then I have
recess duty on Monday afternoons so I am not able to get different word lists
ready until Tuesdays. We don’t have
school tomorrow so you wouldn’t get them until Wednesday. Therefore, those children will NOT have
spelling homework.
BLOOMZ/CLASS DOJO: Please remember to switch to Class
Dojo this week. I will soon be deleting
the BLOOMZ account, and I don’t want anyone to miss things!
LOOKING AHEAD: Next week will be
the week that I am gone on Monday and Tuesday for the School Improvement
Conference. Therefore, I will only see
your child on Wednesday because of Thanksgiving break. It will not be a normal teaching week. They will not have spelling homework. We won’t have time to fit in the teaching for
our phonics skill/spelling words.
Miss Bronkema will be their substitute for
both days. The kids have all had her in kindergarten, so all should be fine!
STUDENT OF THE WEEK: Our special student this week is Tristin Quist! Tristin is 6 years old, and was born on
August 26th. He likes to play
superheroes, he runs fast, he has lost 1 tooth, and he has two brothers with
another sibling coming very soon!
Tristin’s favorite foods are watermelon and pizza. His favorite movie is Home, and his favorite
book is If You Give a Dog a Donut. J

LA ORTOGRAFÍA: Es posible que su hijo no
tenga tarea de ortografía esta semana. Si tuvieran
cero o un mal en la prueba previa NO tendrán tarea. Tengo que esperar
hasta que tomen el pretest el lunes, y luego tengo el derecho de receso los
lunes por la tarde por lo que no soy capaz de obtener diferentes listas de
palabras listas hasta los martes. No tenemos escuela mañana así que no los conseguirías hasta el miércoles. Por lo tanto, esos niños NO tendrán tarea de ortografía.
BLOOMZ / CLASS DOJO: Por favor recuerde cambiar a Dojo
de Clase esta semana. Pronto estaré eliminando la cuenta BLOOMZ,
y no quiero que nadie se pierda las cosas!
MIRANDO ADELANTE: La próxima
semana será la semana que me voy el lunes y martes para la
Conferencia de Mejoramiento Escolar. Por lo tanto, solo veré a su hijo el miércoles debido al descanso de
Acción de Gracias. No será una
semana de enseñanza normal. No tendrán tarea de ortografía. No tendremos tiempo para
encajar en la enseñanza de nuestra habilidad de
fonética / palabras ortográficas.
La señorita Bronkema será su sustituto en ambos días. Los niños la han tenido en el jardín de infantes, así que todo debe estar bien!
ESTUDIANTE DE LA SEMANA: ¡Nuestra estudiante especial esta semana es Tristin Quist! Tristin
tiene 6 años y nació el 26 de agosto. Le gusta
jugar superhéroes, corre rápido, ha perdido 1 diente, y tiene dos hermanos con otro hermano
